What represents a good candidate?

What represents a good candidate? Yes, I'm talking about politics. In this year, several countries passed, are going through or going to be in an election process. We saw how the socialist candidate in France (Hollande) won, and the shake that Greece went through where their 2 primary parties weren't as spectacular as expected. On may 20th the Dominican Republic will be undergoing this process, with candidates and parties that leave a lot to be desired. The political environment is so stagnant that we have to choose between the same 2 candidates we had 12 years ago. One talks without thinking that he might screw up his entire political career, but who are we kidding? We celebrate that stuff, it embarrass us, but we enjoy it. In the other corner, we have one that doesn't say too much, that is considered a puppet of his party, recent cases of corruption, make us wonder, until when we have to deal with this kind of behavior.

Going back to my former question, What represents a good candidate? It represents someone that considers matters such as equality, drugs, corruption, taxes, education, health, commerce and production. Those are key in any country to grow and make an impact in its region. It's necessary that the candidate make realistic and viable proposal that can be worked in the period of 4 years.

A good candidate represents everyone as a country and the political and diplomatic stance that we as a country share.
